PSAT
We will be testing with Snake River High School in mid-October. As soon as it’s set, I’ll let you know how to get registered. Typically, sophomores take this test and the state of Idaho pays the fee. Juniors are encouraged to take it for the NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test), and Advanced Opportunities will pay for it. For more information, check out the Parent’s (and student’s) Guide to the PSAT
College & Career Fair
It will be hosted by Snake River School District this year. Date to be announced, but will take place in the next couple of months.

9/11 Project Idea
If you are wondering about a project to start working on, maybe you would like to do a September 11th Project! By exploring the events, impact, and aftermath of 9/11, we can learn valuable lessons about resilience, unity, and the effects of global conflict. It also offers a chance to reflect on how these events have shaped national security, foreign policy, and the lives of millions of people. Studying 9/11 helps ensure that we honor the memory of those affected and build a better, more informed future.
This Project has resources included that you can use for research and outlines what your project could look like.
Possible Course Submissions:
American Government B Topic 4: Economic, Social and Foreign Policy
Understanding History or Current Events: any Topic
English A courses: Topic 1 or 3
English B courses: Topic 5 or 7
Don't forget that you can turn this Project in to the above History AND English; we love two-fers!
