The Compassion Project is a hands-on course where students learn how to turn empathy into meaningful action. Throughout the class, the student works to identify real needs in their community, research the causes and impact of those needs, and design a thoughtful plan to make a difference. The student will then carry out their plan and reflect on the challenges, growth, and impact of their work. By the end of the course, the student gains experience in ethical decision-making and civic responsibility while discovering how their ideas and actions can positively influence their community.Â
