During this year, students will build upon the knowledge they gained during first year Spanish. Our main focus will be on the language, but we will also explore the cultures of the Spanish speaking world. Each semester the student will learn vocabulary and intermediate level communication skills in four topics of study. Within each language topic, students will progress in the categories of listening, reading, speaking, and writing, as well as a short culture assignment. At the intermediate level, students will be able to understand either written or spoken Spanish, communicating short stories and conversations with Spanish speakers.
