In English 4B, students focus on developing advanced writing and research skills. They will compose a personal letter, write an argumentative essay, and research a famous speech to analyze its rhetorical strategies. Students will also create an annotated bibliography, cite research-based textual evidence, produce a Works Cited page, and develop an informative piece to communicate their findings. Emphasis is placed on clear organization, precise language, and effective use of sources. All topics align with Idaho State Standards and support continued growth as skilled, confident writers and communicators.
